This pattern will walk you through creating your very own Deadffodil flower magnets!

The finished size is approximately 9 cm (3.5”) wide.

Yarn Needed:
Red
Black

Suggested Brands: Impeccable by Loops & Threads or Red Heart Super Saver or similar Medium weight 

Other Tools:
3.5mm hook
Darning needle
Magnet
hot glue or craft glue

Unless otherwise stated always work in a continuous spiral. You don’t turn the work at end of each round, but continue to the next stitch.

Symbols
( ) stitches inside round brackets are worked in the same space

[ ] stitches inside square brackets are repeated the indicated number of times

Terms:
magic circle
CH: chain
St: stitch
SC: single crochet
INC: increase
DC: double crochet
TC: triple crochet
SL St: slip stitch
FO: fasten off
FL: front loops
BL: back loops
BLO: back loop only
P: Picot: CH 2, SL St in 2nd ch from hook

Deadffodil

Hook 3.5 mm
Red Yarn

Start with Magic Circle
Round 1: 6 SC in magic circle (6)
Round 2: 2 SC in each St (12)
Round 3: BLO: [SC, INC] x 6 (18)
Round 4: [(SL St, CH 2, DC, TC), (2 TC, P, TC), (TC, DC, CH 2, SL St)] x 6

FO, weave in ends.

Attach Black Yarn to the unworked FL’s from Round 3.

Round 5-7: 12 SC (12)

FO, weave in ends.

Attach a magnet (if desired), using hot glue or craft glue.

Flower 2

Repeat Flower 1, with reversed colors. The flower is Black, the center will be Red.

And you’re done! Congrats!
